The organizing team for WONCA Asia Pacific Regional Conference (APRC) 2026 in Iloilo City, Philippines, conducted international promotional efforts across the region.
Promotions began at the WONCA APRC in Singapore last August 2024, followed by active engagement at the WONCA APRC in Busan, South Korea last April 2025 that drew 1,450 participants from 45 countries. The team hosted a cocktail reception, ran a promotional booth, and presented a cultural performance in Busan.
In July 2025, Chair Dr. Karin V. Estepa-Garcia also presented at the Hong Kong Primary Care Conference to over 800 healthcare professionals. Preparations are now underway through meetings with key stakeholders, including a significant engagement with Secretary Christina Frasco from the Department of Tourism, as well as local leaders like Mayor Raisa Treñas and Governor Ma. Lucille L. Nava, MD.
