Dr. Ozaktay, a Senior Pain Care Specialist, practicing in Florida, USA, since 2007 with his extensive Pain Research background.
He graduated from the University of Istanbul, Cerrahpasa Medical School in 1988. Upon graduation, he studied "Low Back Pain; Mechanisms of Injury and Understanding the Pain Pathways" for 12 years, as a Research Scientist in the USA. He completed Anesthesiology Residency at the Wayne State University, Detroit Medical School in Michigan. Dr. Ozaktay, is then, succeeded in his fellowship in Pain Medicine at the prestigious Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He, especially, specializes in implantable drug delivery and neuromodulation systems.
He has received multiple honors and awards for his work and is recognized as "Internationally Recognized Outstanding Researcher by the USA Immigration and Naturalization Service."
Dr. Ozaktay is a noted lecturer and has held various teaching appointments throughout his career. Dr. Ozaktay has contributed 19 peer-reviewed journal articles and over 60 presentations in various meetings. He has also been on the "Reviewer Board " for various Journals including the Journal of Spine.
